The reason Whitney’s stance for justice is so important is because it stands for so much more than one occurrence.
As we discovered before, the waitress that had wronged Whitney had actually done similar crimes to many other customers in the past. Not only that, but there are many thieves at large in the world today that aren’t always reprimanded for their actions. Whitney’s actions showed us how wrong and unacceptable this type of behavior is.
