[post_page_title]Stellar waitress[/post_page_title]
The Anderson’s waitress that night apparently did a really good job – she probably smiled at their family, spoke to them in a well balanced tone, and tended to them when they needed something.
Whatever she did, this waitress must have done something to warrant positive initial feedback from Whitney. We know that Whitney liked her because she gave her a big tip. Because this is another very important element that is part of the restaurant goers experience – the tipping.

Okay, maybe tipping isn’t necessarily a “fun” part of going to a restaurant, but it’s certainly part of the experience. In most modern cultures, the person who waits on tables builds a relationship with the customers sitting at the tables, and try to give them the best experience possible.
It is common practice for the customers to tip the waiter or waitress, usually around 10 percent, and sometimes more – depending on how much they liked them.
