When she got to the restaurant, she went straight to the front desk and asked to see the receipt for her family’s order from the previous night. They gave Whitney what looked like a receipt, but upon looking at it, she realized there was something fishy about it.
She asked them if what they gave her was the merchant copy or the customer copy, and then they looked at it again and realized that it was the customer copy – and it wasn’t supposed to be.
