Whether they “didn’t realize” or not, there is no excuse for anyone turning up to a wedding wearing not just a white dress, but a flowing lace white gown that looks EXACTLY like a wedding dress. It’s tasteless, it’s rude, and it’s completely and utterly disrespectful.
However, on the other hand, online debates need to consider people’s feelings. Plus, you never actually know the details of people’s backstories – so if you have a critical opinion to say, next time consider whether it’s worth posting or not.
