Ross’ second wife, played by Helen Baxendale, was the slightly uptight, but loving, Emily Waltham. We first meet Emily in the fourth season, after Ross and the British tourist fall crazy in love during her trip to New York. Although they only knew each other for two weeks, Ross spontaneously asks her to marry him – and she says yes.
During their London wedding, however, Ross accidentally says Rachel’s name at the alter instead of Emily’s. Although they initially try to make it work, their relationship eventually comes to an end.
