Paget Brewster’s role on Friends was her first major acting gig on television. Although it only lasted for six episodes, it definitely opened some doors for the up-and-coming star. The following year she got cast in the sitcom Love & Money, where she starred as Allison Conklin. Unfortunately, it was short-lived, only lasting for one season.
However, she went on to land more jobs on a variety of series, ultimately landing a long-running role, which she still plays today, as FBI chief Emily Prentiss in the CBS crime-drama Criminal Minds. When she is not acting on-screen, she is doing voice work for animated TV shows such as American Dad! and films such as Batman and Harley Quinn – where she voiced the character Poison Ivy.
