Following her seven-episode gig on Friends, Bonnie Somerville – who was previously known for her work on the short-lived sitcom Grosse Pointe – went on to portray Rachel Hoffman in the popular teen-drama The O.C. She then went on to take various TV roles, including a recurring part on NYPD Blue where she played Detective Laura Murphy.
In recent years, Somerville isn’t nearly as seen on-screen, although she did appear a few times on the game show, Movie Trivia Schmoedown. She also had a brief stint as a singer, and had a song on the Grammy Award-winning soundtrack for the movie Garden State. She later released her own ep titled, Songs From Another Life.
