Although she is initially with Joey, she finds herself connecting more with his best friend, Chandler. After Kathy and Chandler share a kiss, their intimate moment nearly ruins Chandler and Joey’s friendship.
Luckily, in the end after seeing that Chandler is more her type, Joey allows the relationship to happen and their friendship is saved. However, after all that love-triangle drama, the romance ends up getting cut short anyways as it is revealed that Kathy has an issue with commitment, and can’t stay faithful to Chandler either.
