You may recall Kate Miller, portrayed by Dina Meyer, as Joey’s gorgeous co-star in season three. Although she was already in a relationship with the director of the play they were working on, Joey wins her over with his adorable charm. Unfortunately, the play ends up flopping due to the apparent lack of on-stage chemistry between the two actors.
The director eventually breaks up with Kate, who takes off to Los Angeles, leaving Joey behind in order to take a job in a soap opera.
