After repeatedly being accused and threatened because of the “Becky” drama, Roy released a statement assuring people that she wasn’t the woman from the song. A lot of people weren’t deterred by her words, but some decided to look elsewhere for someone to blame.
Rita Ora eventually came under fire for supposedly being “Becky” after wearing an outfit similar to Beyonce’s and sporting some lemon-patterned undergarments. The fact that Ora was involved in a legal battle with Jay-Z at the time also didn’t help her case much.
