There was a lot about Jay-Z’s life that ended up coming to light with the release of ‘4:44.’ The album was essentially his chance to come clean about things and confess everything so he could start afresh.
As well as touching on his drama with Solange, the record also appeared to confirm that the rapper had cheated on his wife. In one of his songs, he rapped that he “almost went Eric Benet,” a reference to the singer who famously cheated on Halle Berry some years earlier.
