While we don’t know a lot about what these two went through following Jay-Z’s infidelity, it does seem like the rapper is at least remorseful for his actions. Rapping about being a cheater and confessing that he almost “let the baddest girl in the world get away” can’t have been easy.
Baring your soul for all to see takes guts, and admitting his faults despite the response it would get certainly took courage. Although that doesn’t excuse his behavior, it does show that he’s committed to making his marriage work.
