Considering all the titles and names that these royals kids have, the teachers might not have known what to refer to them as. Fortunately, it seems that William set everyone straight when George started at the school.
He revealed that his son was to be referred to as George Cambridge, in reference to his and Kate’s standing as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. William and Harry did a similar thing when they were younger, using the surname Wales due to their father’s role as the Prince of Wales.
