Sura is Spartacus’ Thracian wife, who is a Prophetess of the Gods and has the ability to foresee the future in dreams. When she first meets Spartacus, she informs him that she already knew of him and that she would be the only woman he would ever love. She is tragically killed during the first season by Alulus under Batiatus’ orders. After her death, she continues to visit her husband in his dreams and visions, often encouraging him to get revenge on the man responsible for taking her life.
