Hugh felt comfortable with Deb from the moment they got together. He calls this comfort the secret to his love for her. Hugh says that he knew she was the woman for him just by how comfortable he felt around her.
He knows that he felt this way with Deb from the very beginning and it was something special. That’s not to say they don’t still try and impress one another from time to time, but they also don’t feel the need to hide their true selves around each other. Hugh says being comfortable is key.
