During the 2012 Tony Awards, where Hugh was awarded with an honorary award for his Broadway work as well as his humanitarian endeavors, he was completely caught by surprise as his wife stepped on stage to be the one to present him with his award!
Deb has said that she is very bad at keeping secrets, but that this one was too big to let it be revealed. Hugh often has nothing but praises for the woman he loves most. He says she’s fearless and doesn’t pay attention to what others thing because everything she does is from her heart.
