Hugh was so shy about his feelings for Deb, considering she was well known and he immediately liked her. He recalls not talking to her for a week after meeting her.
The way he rectified the situation was to be social. He remembers inviting her over along with around 20 other people. She was confused and asked if something was wrong or if she had annoyed him because he wasn’t talking to her anymore. Finally he came clean and admitted that he had a crush on her!
