Between Hugh and Deb, there’s an ongoing joke. Deb calls Hugh’s fans Hughophiles. When they first met, she was the famous one and people often brushed off Hugh, but now she is the one who gets pushed aside.
To this day, she introduces herself as “Chopped liver” as a joke. We love her sense of humor about this – she could easily take the situation much less gracefully. If only more people in Hollywood reacted the same was toward their spouse’s fame.
