On the evening in question, the restaurant was at its busiest. It was a Friday evening, and the temperature was still extremely warm outside. Because of this, customers who made their way into the restaurant wanted to sit on the patio and enjoy the weather.
However, there was only one waiter working the patio – and this was David Fabila. He was extremely overwhelmed, and he really did need an extra pair of hands or two to really give the customers the attention they deserved. Little did he know that one customer would have something to say about this.

However, to truly understand this story, we need to learn a little more about the man himself. David Fabila is a 31-year-old man who lives in Roseville. Although he works as a waiter at the House of Oliver wine bar, this isn’t the only job that he has under his belt.
At the time of this story, he had three children to look after and another on the way, and he seriously needed the extra cash. He had two jobs and was often working as a server in the wine bar after working a shift elsewhere.
