One of the perks of working in the service industry is that you often receive tips. In the United States of America, it’s customary to leave a portion of your total bill as a tip.
This is to recognize the service you received but to also give the waiters something extra to add to their paycheck. After all, servers often work long hours for very little money, and these tips all add up. In David’s case, these tips put food on the table for his family, and he needed them more than ever.

Although David always tries to put on his greatest show to earn the best tips, this particular Friday night was really testing him. He was so overworked with all of the customers on the patio that he began to question himself. Had he been serving the right customers?
Had he taken the right orders? Could the customers see just how stressed he really was? He doubted whether he would receive any tips that night, and he was becoming nervous. Little did he know that Steffen Berr was watching him like a hawk.
