In the past, we have heard numerous people take part in the “Tip the Bill Challenge,” where they tip their server the equivalent of their bill to those who needed it most. However, Steffan confirmed that he didn’t do this because of the challenge.
He knew nothing about David or his family circumstance. He didn’t know that he needed the extra money more than ever, and he didn’t know that he relied on tips to help his family. He just knew that David was doing everything he could that evening, and he wanted him to feel recognized.

Steffan had just completed his senior year of college on this fateful night, and he wanted to celebrate in style. He had worked incredibly hard in his classes, and he had worked hard to earn some money in the process.
Because of this, he felt the urge to give back to the world. He had some extra money in his wallet that he didn’t expect to have, and he knew that he didn’t want to keep it for himself. What’s more is that he didn’t plan to give the money to David. It just felt right in the moment, because he knew David was incredibly deserving.
