Amanda was always proud of her students, but she felt as though her heart might burst with pride when she took in the situation in front of her.
Although the student had at first been reluctant to hand over his special pencils, she couldn’t believe that he then willingly handed over some to his classmates. He knew that they would read the phrases that his mom had written, but he was not embarrassed. In fact, he wanted the smile that was on his face to be passed on to his peers.
