The teacher used this newfound fame and her platform on social media to send a message about her experience and to speak directly to the adults of the world. She noted that the messages that the students’ mom had written on his pencils were “the things that we should be reminding our kids.”
She noted that it’s important for the youth of today to feel as though they are valued, to feel as though they are talented, to feel as though they are important, and to feel as though they are enough – especially when they feel like they might not be.
