Amanda knew that she couldn’t continue with her lesson without pencils, so she asked her students if they wouldn’t mind getting their spares out of the desk to share around with the rest of the class.
Almost all of the students who had pencils to spare got them out and gave them to Amanda, and she was able to walk around the room collecting those to give to those students who did not have their own. However, there was one child who was a bit more reluctant to give away his spares.
