With the wedding party a groom down and no-one actually married, it would have been understandable for everyone to go home. However, there was still a reception to go to, and some of Casey’s guests had traveled a long way for her nuptials.
So, she told everyone that rather than celebrating her getting married, they’d have a different party instead. She wanted to commemorate true love and honesty, despite everything that had happened at the ceremony. There was no point letting the whole day go to waste because of one man’s actions.
