As Thomas continued to watch from the sidelines, he saw that the mother was not pacing back and forth across the road for no reason at all. Instead, she was pacing across the road to get closer to her little cub.
She would walk on over to him, before walking away from him. It was almost as though she was enticing him to follow her, but he just couldn’t move at the same pace. He was much slower, and he just didn’t have the energy to keep up with her.
