Thomas took the poorly cub to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Center in the hope that they would be able to save his life. By the time they made their short journey to the animal center, the cub had weakened drastically.
He could not open his eyes, and he had no energy to even stand up on his own paws. The staff at the New Hampshire Fish and Game Center immediately found him somewhere to sleep, some food to eat, and some water to drink. They didn’t want to interfere too much, so they left him alone to recover.
