There’s no doubt about the fact that Thomas Owens’s actions were inspiring, but he doesn’t want people to keep praising him for his actions. To him, it was just another day at the office, saving the lives of those who live in his state.
If anything, he wants his story to inspire others to take care of the world around them. He hopes that his story will allow others to keep an eye out for animals in the wild. Bears aren’t the only animals who make their way towards human roads, so he wants us to remember to keep them safe at all times.
