Amazingly, this isn’t the only case. More recently, a state trooper who works for the state of Virginia came across two abandoned bear cubs on the street.
The officer soon saw that their mother had passed away during a road traffic accident and that they had nobody left to look after them. The trooper took it upon himself to take the bears to a local shelter for them to be looked after. Now, they are being nursed back to health before being released back into their natural habitat.
