Throughout all of the lying, Emily wasn’t the only person to catch Ashley out, and more people became aware of her scams. Ashley had become so well-known for her lying she was actually invited to go on Dr. Phil.
As she sat opposite an icon of daytime television, Ashley confessed that she had lied before and had made up eight different fake children. Ashley admitted she stole pictures from other mothers to help make her lies more believable. She even lied about giving birth to stillborn children.
