Realizing that it was unlikely she would be able to track down either teenager after 50 years, Gorman went looking for some help. That’s when she brought the story to the media’s attention in the hopes that they could use their resources to find out what happened between them.
Gorman wanted to know if they were ever able to get together and if so, whether they stayed with each other or not. With the aid of local media organization 1057 News, and some helpful publicity, Gorman found answers to her questions.
