The messages that Gorman had found inside the letters seemed to be from a girl to a boy that she really cared about. It looked as though these letters were actually old love letters from the ’60s, so over 50 years ago, and that got Gorman thinking.
She wanted to know if these two people ever ended up together, or if they spent their entire lives apart, unable to enjoy the love they had for each other. Gorman just had to know more about the people in the letters.
