Kylie claimed she knew her boyfriend’s struggles and did not want to let him fight his battles alone. Apparently according to Kylie, him cheating was a consequence of his substance abuse problem and his lacking self-esteem. Kylie was not saying that entirely excused his behavior, but knowing him as well as she did she saw the bigger picture.
She knew that despite his mistakes he has grown tremendously in the two years the two had been dating. And she simply wasn’t ready to give up, despite her initial post sounding so sure.
