There’s a not-so-fine line between being ignorant and being a scoundrel. An ignorant person might be unreasonable out of a simple lack of knowledge. A scoundrel, on the other hand, will pretend to be ignorant to get the best out of every situation, and they’ll use every weapon to get what they want.
When Onequa went on Twitter to share this experience she had had with a haggling client, the jury of the internet reached a decision about the unnamed woman, and it was: “scoundrel!”
