This Twitter user pointed out to the fact that Onequa’s rate wasn’t even unreasonable to begin with. It might have made sense for the woman to try to haggle if Onequa was charging an absurd amount of money for her services, but that wasn’t the case.
She noticed $28 per person – or even more – is what someone would pay for that type of food at any restaurant, so the caterer’s price was within range. Plus, she added, the notice was too short for a wedding catering, so Onequa was right to wave the woman bye bye.
