Dogs are at serious risk of losing their lives if they are kept in hot cars for too long, and ideally they shouldn’t be kept in a hot car for any length of time. If you have to go somewhere and bring your dog along, perhaps you should take your pet with you rather than forcing them to suffer in a hot car. If you plan on leaving them in your vehicle, ensure there is plenty of air coming in, preferably from the ventilation system or by opening a window.
