When officer Kreischer spoke to Nicholas about her dog, she seemed to think the dog was just fine and judging by her attitude, she had little remorse for her actions. From the very first words out of officer Kreischer’s mouth, he felt as though he was being responded to with an attitude. This attitude seems to be what gave him the idea to have Nicholas sit in her car and learn the hard way just how hot it was, but his lapel footage shows he never forced her to cooperate.
