Officer Kreischer felt that his concerns were not being taken seriously so as he was deciding what to do with Nicholas, he asked her to take a seat inside her car. The police officer wanted the woman to see and feel exactly what it’s like to be sat in such a hot car, so he asked her to leave the windows closed while keeping the air conditioning off. Officer Kreischer didn’t force her to, but suggested she do it to have an understanding of the unbearable heat inside.
