Officer Kreischer thought that if he could make Nicholas feel, even just a little, how it feels to be trapped inside a car on a hot day, then he would have taught her a valuable lesson. Making her sit inside her car would certainly give her a greater understanding of how hot it was, but would she even care? It seemed as though she didn’t have to worry about it as she could turn the air conditioning on when she was inside, so why would she worry?
