Lorna might have actually dodged a bullet by not getting to rent the property. Sure she might still be on the lookout for somewhere new to stay, but at least she doesn’t have to worry about that homeowner.
Plus, if they felt so strongly that a single female would need protection then maybe it wasn’t the best place to live in the first place. Lorna was able to dodge a landlord from hell, but these next unfortunate renters were not so lucky.
