Traditionally, when it’s time for a man and a woman to take the next step and get engaged, the man will buy a ring and propose to the love of his life. In this case, however, the man’s mom was the one who decided it was time for an engagement. She wanted her son to go ahead and get married to his girlfriend, so she did it her own way, essentially proposing to the woman herself. Bold move, but as long as the couple is down, we don’t hate it.
