Born to Puerto Rican parents and raised in the Bronx borough of New York City, Gloria Garayua pursued a degree in acting at Long Island University. She then went on to take roles in several shows and movies, including The Good Doctor, NCIS: Los Angeles, Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, The Shield, Fair Warning, and Henry Poole is Here. She also works as an acting coach in Los Angeles, where she does both private lessons as well as lessons in schools.
