Although he had managed to escape at first, the police eventually apprehended Cary, who was charged with burglary and unlawful restraint. Tracy could finally breathe a little easier knowing he had been found, but was still very badly affected by the experience.
Nobody wants to feel unsafe in their own home, and Tracy had seen her personal domain be invaded by someone with extremely ill intent. Hopefully she and her family will be able to put it behind them, and eventually get back to a feeling of security.
