The single biggest thing about her road to losing weight and rediscovering herself was, in her own words, to “approach it slow and steady.” Losing weight was far from easy, she conceded. If it was, everyone would have a perfect body. It’s precisely for that reason that it’s so important to go slowly at first, starting with taking walks and focusing on your diet. Going too hard too soon, she warned, will lead to getting discouraged and maybe giving up altogether. “Start small and work your way up,” she advised.
