While her television career appeared as though it could be dwindling, Mary Tyler Moore did manage to land herself some strong roles on the stage. Starring as the lead role in ‘Whose Life Is It Anyway,’ she saw out 96 performances during 1980. Moore also began producing her own plays with her production company, such as ‘Noises Off,’ ‘The Octette Bridge Club,’ and ‘Benefactors,’ and although she never starred in them, the plays were all a success.
