After successfully modeling anonymously for the covers of record albums, Moore decided to focus on more of an acting career. She found herself auditioning for a role as Danny Thomas’s older daughter on ‘Make Room for Daddy.’ Thomas rejected the actress, and much, later on, went to explain that the reason Moore was never cast was due to her nose! Known to have a large nose himself, Thomas said that any daughter of his could never have a nose as small as Moores.
