In 1961, Moore would find herself being recommended from a previous encounter she had had. After having turned her down for a role on his show, Danny Thomas would be the one to recommend Moore for the part on ‘The Dick Van Dyke Show’ as his company was the one producing it. Thomas remembered Moore from their meeting before and was more than happy for her to be involved playing a role on the weekly show. Her nose size clearly didn’t matter this time around.
