During cycle 21, the world was introduced to Winnie Harlow – a Canadian model who lives with vitiligo. This skin condition affects the pigmentation of her skin, and Winnie suffered from confidence issues while on the show because of this. Amazingly, Winnie was chosen to appear on the show after Tyra Banks found her on Instagram! Although she often struggled to find her place on the show, Winnie managed to fight her way through the competition and eventually left in sixth place. It’s fair to say that the public loved her.
