There have been several studies that have emerged over the last several years which has determined that beauty and math are one in the same. But how can this be? Well, it turns out that it is all about symmetry and ratios. Humans find symmetry to be attractive, be it in a dog, a flower, or even a person. Humans subconsciously perceive people who have more symmetrical faces as being healthier as well. It seems as if love of symmetry is hardwired into us.
