Things then seemed to go from bad to worse for not only Meghan and Harry but also Kensington Palace. Maybe none of them own a calendar, but October 15 – the day of the official public announcement – also happened to be International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
Not exactly a great day to announce a pregnancy. As many stood in solidarity with those who have lost infants, some felt it was an insensitive choice. One person on social media went so far as to call the timing “appalling.”
